We’re here if you’re stuck.

Most cards check out in a couple of seconds. When they don’t, it’s almost always one of the things below.

The card number isn’t being accepted

Triple-check the long number on the front of the card. It’s usually 16 digits, sometimes 19. If yours looks shorter than that, you’re probably reading the customer service number by mistake — the card number is the big embossed one.

The CVV doesn’t match

The CVV is the three-digit number on the back. If the back of your card has a four-digit code instead, use all four. Try once more with fresh eyes — it’s an easy one to misread.

It says my card is expired

That means today’s date is past the expiry printed on the front. If the card was a gift and the money should still be valid, drop us a note — many of our cards keep their funds even after the printed expiry.

The balance looks wrong

Try waiting a few minutes — recent transactions can take a moment to show up. If it still looks off, email us with your card’s last four digits and roughly when you last used it.
